A French-Spanish-based Émmes family has collected and preserved its collections for almost 100 years.
THE ERCSI FAMILY
Hungary
As a university student he graduated as an architect engeenier in Hungary
and besides his studies he was an active participant of thHungarian Revolution in 1956.
He was an enthusiastic revolutionist in his own life and in his works as well.
Schwitzerland
Switzerland was receptive with the gifted architeet student who stayed thankful in his whole life for this gentle gesture.
He ended his studies in the ETH Institute in Zurich at last. During his professional career, he won plenty of tenders regarding block of flats,
churches and multifunctional industrial buildings as well and he was also succeeded in the perfect construction too.
With his fresh ideas and artistic point of view, he was able to make living places even more colorful and practical as well.
Travels and antique collections
He collected the antique work of arts from all over the world, regarding Africa, India, China, Thailand and
plenty of countries of Western Europe.
Items outside the African collection were purchased by the collector at Swiss and German auction houses.
He travelled around these countries from the early ’60s with his family and bought the art treasures that create his amazing collection. In fact, as an archeteet he had a very sophisticated taste and strong sense that was necessary and helpful skill to make fine distinctions between standardized products that are for the common turist and the real, authentic, rural artworks.
